Grand Designs Live London is continuing to grow as it celebrates its 11th year – last month the event attracted over 100,000 visitors and 500 exhibitors to ExCeL London. For nine days from May 2-9, the interior design event flaunted the latest trends and welcomed celebrity speakers such as Kevin McCloud, George Clark and Charlie Huxton.

Kevin McCloud, presenter of Grand Designs, was the show host over the nine day event and welcomed a number of industry experts for talks and workshops designed to share wisdom and advice. Kevin is an advocate of self-build, sustainable homes, and current eco trends were showcased in ‘The Green House’ feature, including the latest eco technology and gadgets for the home.
Many of the exhibitors at Grand Designs Live would have been persuading homeowners to choose the greener options when designing or refurbishing their homes – and eco alternatives are becoming more popular. But in terms of the exhibition, how environmentally friendly was the event overall, and had the exhibitors thought about the eco credentials of their stands and booths?
Printdesigns has expanded its offering of sustainable and eco-friendly display stands, and is promoting them to businesses who want to improve their environmental policies.
