Standard Pallet Skirt Sizes
The most common sized pallets used in the UK are the 1200mm x 1000mm 'UK' pallet or the smaller 1200mm x 800mm ' Euro' pallet. Both types of pallet are normally made from wood and share a similar structure being suitable for lifting or jacking using a forklift or pump truck. Our printed pallet wraps are available in sizes to fit both pallets as standard. Pallet skirts are made around 2cm larger than the overall footprint size of the pallet so that the pallet skirt can stand on the floor outside of it.
Pallet Skirt Printing
Our pallet skirts are printed using a full-colour, digital UV process. Ink is applied to the material and then 'cured' with UV light from LED lamps. The printed surface is resistant to fading & moisture.
Digital printing allows us to produce almost any quantity of printed pallet skirts without any set-up costs or minimum order quantities so we can accommodate one-off orders or large runs.
There is no restriction on the amount of colour that can be used in the artwork for the pallet skirt. Our printing process provides 1000 dpi output resolution for photo-quality reproduction.
Printed Pallet Skirt Material
Pallet skirts are printed onto a 4mm thick Correx material which is strong and hard wearing.
Correx is made from two flat sheets with a central 'fluted' core so it is very stiff. It can be used indoors or outdoors and is weatherproof.
Correx is made from polycarbonate and is 100% recyclable.
It is possible to produce pallet wraps using thicker grades of Correx to produce extremely heavy-duty pallet covers. We can also print onto cheaper products such as corrugated cardboard in order to produce low-cost, disposable pallet wraps too. Please get in touch to discuss the options.
Contour Cut Pallet Skirt Base
Standard pallet skirts are cut as standard with a contour-shaped bottom.
The apertures at the base of the pallet skirt allow for forklift or pump truck access underneath so the pallet can still be moved around without the need to remove the pallet skirt first.
If you prefer, the base of the pallet skirt can be left flat so it sits completely flush to the floor.

Please ensure you utilise the correct artwork template for the size of pallet that you require. Our standard pallet skirts measure 800mm in height but if you want to shorter or taller size, please contact us prior to ordering and we can provide a price for you.
