The material is printed from 1600mm wide rolls so we offer finished sizes of up to 1550mm x any length. |

The History Of OilclothOilcloth was originally developed back in the 18th century when it was used as a temporary floor or roof covering. The product was manufactured by stretching linen cloth over a frame, rather like a canvas which was then rubbed smooth using a pumice stone before being coated with a mixture of linseed oil and paint. This oil-impregnated fabric became known as oilcloth. Our modern 'oilcloth' shares many of the same properties as the original product being durable and waterproof but is made by coating a base layer of fabric with vinyl. It has a softer, more pliable feel when compared to products like banner PVC so it is ideally suited for use as a tablecovering as it can drape around the edges. |

Custom Printed Oilcloth TableclothsOur oilcloth can be printed with almost any customised design and there are no minimum order requirements. We can print anything from a one-off personalised tablecloth for a family occassion through to a large run of branded oilcloth tablecloths for a commercial business or event. Printed oilcloth tablecloths are popular for use in cafes, children's party rooms, industrial locations or any space where the requirement to clean the table covering quickly and easily is essential. The oilcloth material is printed using a digital process and the inks are resistant to water, mild cleaning solutions and UV light. There is no restriction as to the amount of colour that can be printed and the print itself is 'all-over'. |
Ordering Printed Oilcloth TableclothsPrinted oilcloth tablecloths are printed from rolls of material and we offer custom printing to the exact size you require. The only restriction on size is that one dimension of the tablecloth cannot exceed 1550mm which is the maximum available roll width of this material. Simply enter the finished size of your tablecloth (in mm) for a custom price. Please note that when supplying artwork for a custom printed oilcloth tablecloth you should set your artwork 20mm wider and taller than the required finished size. This is so we can finish the tablecloth with a 10mm hem to the edge. So, for example. If you ordered a 1380mm x 2000mm tablecloth, you would set your artwork 20mm wider on each axis (1400mm x 2020mm).
