Our Small Teardrop Flag is one of the most popular size and shaped teardrop shaped flags in our range. Ideal for indoor and outdoor use, the teardrop flag can be purchased with a variety of support bases suitable for use on different types of ground surfaces. Teardrop flags are available with single-sided printing whereby the image shows through to the rear of the flag in mirror-image or double-sided printing whereby two prints are sewn back-to-back, allowing the content to be readable from both sides without being mirrored.
Light but Strong
Our Teardrop flags use a premium glass fibre support pole that is lightweight and durable too.
The pole is made from sections that simply push-fit together, providing an overall pole length of 2.2M for our small-size teardrop flag.
Assembly is quick and easy. Simply slide the pole into the black nylon pocket that is sewn to the edge of the printed flag. Once the flag is slid onto the pole, a toggle is used to connect the bottom of the flag to the pole.
A slide adjustment on the pole allows tension to be pulled on the bottom of the flag print which causes the tip of the flag to curve and provide the recognisable teardrop flag shape.
Support bases for all situations
Small-size teardrop flags can be supplied with a choice of different support bases that are suitable for use on various ground surfaces. We have spike bases that can be used on soft surfaces such as grass or a selection of different hollow bases that can be filled with sand or water for weighting. Our cross base offers a neat solution if you are using the flag indoors and it can also be supplied with a water-weight bag to give you the flexibility to use the flag outdoors too. Teardrop flag support bases are also available to purchase separately.

Choice Of Single Or Double Sided Teardrop Flag Printing
We offer the printing of teardrop flags in a choice of two ways:
Single-sided flags - are made from one single piece of fabric. The printed artwork is output onto one side of the fabric and it shows through to the reverse in a mirror image with around 90% opacity. Most Teardrop flags are made this way.
Double-sided flags - are made by printing two separate pieces of fabric that are sewn back-to-back with a liner of Tyvek fabric in between.
The benefit of a double side flag is that messaging such as text can be read correctly from both directions, however, because the flag is made from two pieces of material with a solid layer of fabric in between, the print is heavier and will trap wind rather than allowing it to diffuse through the material. Consequently, double-sided flags will benefit from a heavier or more substantial support base when compared to their single-sided counterparts.
