We quote for artwork based on a customer's requirements so before adding the required amount of time to the shopping cart, you will first need to obtain a quote for the time required. The information below explains how our artwork design service works and how to obtain an accurate quote.
We offer two types of artwork design depending on your requirements. Simple artwork re-setting or concept design for more involved projects.
- Basic Graphic Design / Artwork Re-setting -
For those customers with a clear idea of what is required, but perhaps not the correct software or graphic design skills, our team can turn your initial idea into a polished, print-ready piece of artwork. For basic graphic design, you should create a design brief and forward it via email to [email protected]m so we can study your requirements and come back to you with a quotation. It's helpful if you can provide a rough and ready piece of artwork in the form of a Word, Publisher or PowerPoint file as this will give us a basic understanding of the content that is required. Even a simple hand-drawn sketch can provide us with a clear starting point.
Along with the brief, you should also provide copies of any images or logos that are to be used in the design. We will check the quality of these images and logos so we can advise if the quality is suitable for printing. Should there be problems with images or logo files, we can quote at this stage for redrawing of logos or sourcing of new images. Once a quote is agreed you can purchase the required amount of time via this page by adding the time to the shopping cart along with the product(s) that you want to purchase.
This is ideally suited for customers who require more detailed assistance with marketing ideas, copywriting, content, sourcing of images, creation of logos etc.
For concept design work, our graphic design team operating from our studio in Stone, Staffordshire will discuss your requirements in detail before allocating a block of time within which ideas and concepts will be created. Typically this is a whole day at £280 ex VAT.
Following the creation of initial graphic design concepts, you will be able to select your preferred designs which can be refined until completion. The time/cost to refine the initial concept into the final design is variable depending on the amount of changes/revisions and the hourly rate is £40 ex VAT
