Self-adhesive vinyl is a popular material that can be used for a variety of applications including self-adhesive posters, stickers, and decals. Our standard self-adhesive vinyl material has a choice of a removable or permanent adhesive backing with a peel-off release liner. It can be printed at widths up to 1550mm x almost any continuous length. Self-adhesive vinyl can be cut to any shape with an option for kiss-cutting as well as standard through-cutting.
White Self Adhesive Vinyl Printing
White self-adhesive vinyl is printed onto the front and is adhesive on the reverse side. We offer a choice of a low-tack removable adhesive backing or a stronger permanent adhesive backing. Self-adhesive vinyl can be stuck to almost any smooth, sealed surface indoors or outdoors.
White self-adhesive vinyl is printed from rolls and we can supply finished prints at up to 1550 mm x any length. For larger images, we can split artwork and provide it in sections that can butt up or overlap depending on preference.
In terms of material application, printed self-adhesive vinyl can be used for the production of self adhesive posters, decals and stickers at any size.
In addition to our standard self-adhesive vinyl, we offer specialist products including high-tack adhesive vinyl, ultra-low tack repositionable self-adhesive vinyl, clear self-adhesive vinyl, block-out self-adhesive vinyl and self-cling vinyl.

About Our Self-Adhesive White Vinyl
The standard product we use for white self-adhesive vinyl printing is Metamark MD3 which is an intermediate-grade calendered vinyl designed specifically for digital printing.
The thickness of the vinyl is 70 microns and the peel-off release liner on the reverse is 140 microns.
The durability of this vinyl will depend on many environmental factors but the base material has a suggested durability of around 5 Years.
The material is fire-rated (Class B) and the standard finish is gloss. We can also provide a matt finish on request too.

Self Adhesive Vinyl Cutting Options
After printing, self-adhesive vinyl can be cut in one of two different ways:
Through cutting - the self-adhesive vinyl is cut all the way through (including the backing paper). Each piece of printed self-adhesive vinyl is separated from the roll it is printed from.
Kiss cutting - the surface of the vinyl is cut through but the backing paper is left intact. Kiss-cut stickers are either left on the roll or we can cut the roll into more manageable sheets, each sheet can contain one or more stickers.
With either through cutting or kiss cutting, the self-adhesive vinyl can be cut to any contour outline shape if required.
Optional Self Adhesive Vinyl Lamination
Lamination involves coating the printed surface of the self-adhesive vinyl with a protective film that increases durability and prevents the printed surface of the sticker from being scratched.
Stickers that are going to be positioned in locations where they could suffer from mechanical abrasion should ideally be laminated. For example, stickers that are placed onto vehicles, pieces of equipment or machinery that will be physically cleaned from time to time.
Lamination is available in a choice of matt and gloss finishes and we also offer a textured crystal matt finish that provides the most durable, scratch-resistant finish of all. Textured laminated stickers cannot be kiss-cut.
We also offer a dry-wipe laminated finish that is designed for use with dry-wipe markerboard pens. This type of lamination contains silicone-based inhibitors that allow you to use specific dry-wipe markerboard pens and wipe clean afterwards.
Lamination is only available for prints not exceeding 1000mm.
Self Adhesive Vinyl Alternatives
Standard white self-adhesive vinyl is the most commonly used product for stickers and decals but we can supply a range of other adhesive materials too:
Clear self-adhesive vinyl - used for decals that are attached to the inside of glass whereby the image faces outwards
High tack self-adhesive vinyl - for stronger adhesive strength
Repositionable self-adhesive vinyl - easy to remove without leaving residue. Ideal for temporary stickers
Blockout self-adhesive vinyl - grey-backed adhesive helps to prevent show-through when applied to patterned surfaces
Self-cling vinyl - non-adhesive product that sticks with surface tension
Self-adhesive fabrics - can be formed and stuck to uneven surfaces that conventional vinyl cannot adhere to such as the brick wall shown in this example.
Plus a wide range of other adhesive films that are not vinyl-based too.
Our team have lots of experience with all types of self-adhesive products and is happy to discuss your requirements and offer free advice.
