Rectangular Feather Flags from Printdesigns feature a premium aluminium pole that is stiffer and stronger than equivalent glass fibre poles used on conventional feather and teardrop-shaped flags. They can be supplied with a choice of different support bases for use on various ground surfaces. Single or double printing options are available.
A Rectangular Shaped Portable Event Flag
The rectangular feather flag is a portable advertising feather flag with a conventional rectangular-shaped print.
It is portable, easy to transport and ideally suited for promotional use at outdoor events such as fairs, sporting occasions and festivals. Rectangular feather flags can also be used indoors at exhibitions and trade shows.
The flag pole kit consists of a sectional vertical metal pole and a horizontal T Piece that packs into a supplied drawstring carry bag.
The flag comes complete with a custom-printed graphic and can be supplied with a choice of different types of support bases depending on the surface on which you want to use the flag.
Strong Aluminium Sectional Pole
The pole of the rectangular-shaped feather flag is made from tubular aluminium sections that are tough and durable for outdoor use.
The metal pole offers greater rigidity when compared to equivalent glass fibre flag poles. This is advantageous because it allows the rectangular flag to maintain its shape without bending or flexing in the wind.
Rectangular feather flags are designed for outdoor use in wind speeds of up to 35km/h (22 Mph) (Beaufort Scale 5) when used with a suitable support base.
Fast Assembly With No Tools
The 25mm diameter aluminium vertical pole sections of the flag pole push-fit together in seconds, locking into pace with secure push-button connectors. A 90-degree angled top section is provided that also pushes fits to the top of the vertical flag pole. Assembling the flag pole requires no tools and takes as little time as a minute or two.

With a choice of 8 different support bases for your rectangular-shaped feather flag, we have a solution for all situations.
Our spike bases are ideal for soft surfaces such as grass or sand whereas folding cross or water-fillable plastic bases can be used on almost any hard surface.

Flag Printing Options
Rectangular feather flags can be supplied with a choice of either single-sided or double-sided printing options. We use a durable knitted flag material that is washable in a conventional machine at 30 degrees. The pole pocket on our flag is made from black polyester banding so it is tough and durable.
Single Sided Flags
Printed onto one piece of 115gsm knitted polyester flag material. The image is printed to one side of the material and it shows through to the reverse with around 90% opacity. Technically speaking, a single-sided flag is still double-sided but the content on the reverse is mirrored.
Single-sided flag prints being made from one piece of fabric are very light and will flutter nicely in the wind. Wind can diffuse through a single-sided flag so they are better suited for use in windier conditions when compared to double-sided flags.
Double Sided Flags
Printed from the same 115gsm knitted polyester flag material but we print two separate graphics and sew them back to back. To prevent show-through from one side of the flag to the other, an additional piece of liner material is sewn in between the two prints.
The advantage of a double-sided flag is content like wording can be read correctly from both sides, however being made from three pieces of material, the print is heavier and will not flutter in the wind as nicely as a single-sided flag.

Note that single-sided flags require only one piece of artwork whereas a double-sided flag requires two separate artwork files (one for each side of the flag).
